Arty March Fundraisers for Women's Crisis Center

March is Women's History Month, among other important designations, such as Student Art Month in Windham County. In our area, this theme has spurred a number of arts-related fundraisers for the Women's Crisis Center, which provides a broad range of essential services and has as its mission to end violence against women and girls. Its phone number is (802) 257-7364.

WOMEN'S FILM FESTIVAL - Running March 14-23 this year, the festival showcases films that depict women's multi-faceted lives and give a more human and humane context to world events . . . to show how those events impact on women's lives, and how women's lives impact on the world. Documentary and feature-length films are included as well as guest speakers, filmmakers, panel discussions and other events highlighting women's issues and their place in the arts.
