Superfresh! Organic Café: A Gallery, Stage & Store

On their a Grand (re)Opening Weekend in January, at 30 Main Street in Brattleboro, the caf& unveiled a new space that allows Jessica Weston and her team to focus on sharing their passion for "exquisite vegetarian cuisine."

If you were a patron on Elm Street, you can expect the same organic food with a more professional appearance and an expanded menu featuring a full juice bar, superfood smoothies, grab-n-go items, and a wide selection of baked goods and raw desserts. Nearly everything on the menu is also vegan -- no meat, eggs, dairy products, or other animal-derived ingredients are used in its preparation. A special "Lil' Sprouts" menu is offered for "ages 1-199" -- see superfreshcafe.com.

In addition to its "front of the house" café environment, which is available for take-out, coffee sipping, and quick bites -- with views of Wantastiquet and the Whetstone Brook -- table service is offered on Friday and Saturday evenings, and for Saturday-Sunday brunch, in the casual back-room dining area. Catering for meetings, parties, and professional events is available for beverages, finger foods, full meals, and desserts.

Beyond the yummy fare, Superfresh! features wall space for visual artists, time slots for small-scale performances (singer-songwriters, poets, a jazz quartet, etc.), and a retail area for artisanal shelf-stable food products, herbal apothecary goods, and educational resources. Also in the mix are educational cooking classes, cleanses, lectures, and more.

The café's hours are Wednesday & Thursday 8 to 10, Friday 8 to 11, Saturday 10 to 11, and Sunday 10 to 8. Stop in for food that satisfies and local art that inspires.
