River Gallery School's Annual Auction on October 7
River Gallery School of Art, 30-34 Main Street in Brattleboro, is hosting its 27th Annual Benefit Auction on Saturday, October 7, at Next Stage Arts Project in Putney, Vermont. Proceeds support the school's programs and scholarships. Attendees may pre-purchase their admission to this enjoyable event by going to the Auction page at rivergalleryschool.org, allowing them to breeze past the check-in line and start bidding, while sampling delicious food and a cash bar.
Featured items being auctioned this year include trips to Africa and Italy, as well as a Gulf Coast retreat; dinners at Duo, West River Marina, and Peter Havens; an antique clock, handmade mittens, a beautiful woven scarf, and jewelry; local pottery by Aaron Ahrenholtz and Teta Hilsdon, and much more donated by local artists and craftspeople, area businesses and eateries, students, and friends of the school.
The website Auction page has a rotating display of items being offered. If you can't attend or can't stay, and you see something you want to bid on, Left Bids are accepted. Email or call the school with your name and credit card so we can help make you a winner!
Marc Tessitore from Guilford Country Store will be serving an array of delicious appetizers, and Hillside Pizza will be in abundance as well. Cupcakes and coffee will cap a fun evening.
