Necklaces at Margo's Bits and Bobs

Margo carries (and crafts) a wide array of jewelry and other adornments to appeal to every age and style, and prices are very affordable.

Margo Honigman-Schwam is a treat to meet! She arrived on U.S. shores from the very top of England back in 1963 and fell for a New Yorker. It was only in 1990 that she decided to go into business as a dealer of antiques and collectibles, and began selling her wares at shows and flea markets around the city and further afield: Cold Spring Harbor, Great Neck, Hilton and Marriot Hotels, the infamous East Side Flea Market, GreenFlea, and the Columbus Avenue Flea Market on the Upper West Side, among others. In 1992, she was featured in Antiques & The Arts Weekly for her fine merchandise selling at Heckscher Park on Long Island.

In 2000 she her husband relocated to Vermont and briefly owned an antique shop in Townshend before moving to West Brattleboro a couple years later. The cozy shop she's running at 1010 Western Ave. (next to the pizza place and 7-Eleven) is chock full of an eclectic variety of offerings at affordable prices: antique smalls, Depression glass, fine china, vintage linens, handknits, a few international crafts; many items among the handcrafted jewelry and hair accessories are Margo's own creations and include current styles for teens.

Stop in for an enjoyable chat and to take in the amazing selection of goods.
